Calabash

Calabash was founded centuries ago by retired pirates who made a fortune plundering ships along the Mediterabean Sea, which at the time was filled with trade ships from all over. They took advantage of a cove on the back of Skull Island, located in the middle of Pirate's Bay, surrounded by reefs and rocks, making their hideout very hard to spot and even more to reach, unless you had a profound knowlegde of the narrow passages between the reefs.

They eventually retired and relocated to Cerebrus Bay on an adjacent island, where they built the No Saints Castle to protect their newly founded domains, Calabash!

Around it, the Old Town emerged, and later Believers Corner, where they built a magnificent cathedral, Cerebrus Bay, Arquimedes, Pidgeons and eventually The Narrow.

Pearl Gardens, Newtown, Hawkings Terrace and Plato (South and North) are the results of an exceeding demand for residencies in the city, that by that time was already a very busy comercial and industrial hub triggered by the industrial revolution, which forced Highland Way, Steam Valley, Fairview Gardens and Grey Burrows to plop into existance.

The ever growing residencial demand lead to Windy Couple (a lower class neighbourhood) located on the valley that separates the more modern looking Penrose Heights and Sousa-Cardozo Fields, and on the other side Hawking's Terrace, where the prominent Red's Stadium shines.

Along came The Docks, Gama Hills (very expensive villas area located over the Marina), Cape Spear and Pasteur Hills.

More recently the Harbour, Write Airport and Sacadura Fields came along to an ever growing demand of import/export of goods.

At the same time, a more rural area started to be explored on the continent, next to main Calabash's island, from where vegetables, grains, meat, timber and rock supply the industries of Calabash. These are Coluna Midfields, Decartes Cove, Ring Valey, Higgs Terrace, Groundhog Hills and White Rock.

Along the way, places like The Wheels (huge skatepool) and Roland Meadows (tennis complex that holds the new 5th Grand Slam Tournement), Currie Valley (dorms for the University), Watt Fields and more recently Harrowdown has been serving the current dorms expansion.
